Computing

Teach Computing follows a spiral curriculum model, where key themes are revisited regularly to reinforce learning and prevent knowledge from being forgotten. Each year, the same core themes are revisited and built upon in increasingly complex ways, ensuring that pupils' understanding deepens over time.

The curriculum is designed to be both inclusive and ambitious, offering all children the opportunity to thrive. It provides carefully scaffolded resources to support learners at all levels, while also incorporating challenges to stretch their abilities.

Underpinned by the latest research, the curriculum is reviewed annually and updated to reflect the most current developments in the field. This ensures that the content remains relevant and prepares students for future success in the rapidly evolving world of computing.

The Nation Centre of Computing Education is underpinned by 12 principles of Computing learning.
