Catering and Free School Meals
Catering
School dinners are cooked on the school premises by our kitchen manager and her staff. They provide a choice of at least three main courses with a variety of vegetables and desserts based on a healthy options diet. The menu is displayed on the Parent Notice board by the schools main exit doors and is available online.
Cashless payments
Schools dinners cost £2.70 per day for children in Nursery and Years 3-6.
Paying for school meals
Queen's Park Academy is a cashless school and we do not accept payments at the school office. Payments for trips, resources and meals are made via ParentPay. When you join the school you will be issued with a log in and password. Only one ParentPay account is required even if you have more than one child in our school. Continue to read the information below to find out more about Free School Meals and getting help.
If you have any queries or need further information or assistance with ParentPay, please contact finance via qpa@queensparkacademy.co.uk
We cannot accept payments at the school office.
Universal and free school meals
From September 2014, the Government introduced Universal Free School Meals for children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2.
The school will provide a school meal every day for the children in these years so there is no need to provide a packed lunch.
You may also be entitled to claim for free school meals. If you believe you may be eligible you can complete an online application:
