Nursery Funding

Queen’s Park Academy Nursery is pleased to be able to offer 15 hours free education for all children the term after their third birthday in line with the current government offer. In addition to 15 hours of universal childcare, working parents are eligible for the extended 15 hours of childcare. This combines to make 30 hours of funded childcare.

You will be asked to set up an account to check online if you are eligible for the funding.  If you are, then you will be sent a letter from the council with a code that you need to bring into school.

Funding is allocated the term after your child’s third birthday as follows:

• children born between 1 January and 31 March are eligible from the Summer term after Easter holidays (April).
• children born between 1 April and 31 August are eligible from the Autumn term (September).
• children born between 1 September and 31 December are eligible from the Spring term (January).
